The wind was blowing about 30 MPH and the sands were moving to form these
amazing ridges and patterns. Stay tuned for another video.

Since I started to have interest in time lapse photography, I keep my eyes on the clouds
for what would make cool videos. This was really sweet like a blanket being blown away!

This past Saturday I went to New Bern to shoot photos with my buddy
Zach Frailey from The Uprooted Photographer. We shot from the observation
deck on the draw Bridge in down town New Bern. About an hour into the
time-lapse the bridge operator tell us to leave since he needed to open the bridge
for boat traffic, I was bummed to stop the time-lapse but in the end it really worked
out for the better allowing me to capture a few other short scenes.

The clouds were looking neat on the sound side, I shot these at the Island Harbor Marina
using a circular polarizer filter and also bracketing three exposures.

Looking through some older photos and came across this one from 2008. It’s
amazing that you can see the start of what is now a vast beach that you can dive on.

One of my favorite photos from spring of 2011. Lucas really stepped it up this
year and became a true ripper!
